Charleroi! Zo geweldig dat er twee van zijn. Eentje in het Belgische Henegouwen, eentje in het Amerikaanse Pennsylvania. Charleroi, Pennsylvania werd in 1891 gesticht en was ooit een bruisend centrum van nijverheid en vermaak. Het ook over dit onderwerp goed ingelichte wikipedia schrijft ondermeer:
Charleroi was home to one of the first movie theatres in the nation, the electric theatre which opened in October 1905.
